Flower agate

Flower agate is a type of agate (a variety of chalcedony) known for its soft, blooming patterns that look like tiny flowers frozen inside the stone.

It usually has a pale pink, peach, or creamy base with white or slightly translucent “petals” that form naturally as the mineral grows. Those flower-like shapes come from plume inclusions—basically mineral deposits spreading out in a way that resembles blossoms.

Most flower agate comes from Madagascar and has become really popular in lapidary work because it takes a great polish and the patterns really pop when cut the right way.
